We would like to thank all Exhibitors and Visitors who participated in the next edition of MEBLE POLSKA Fair, which took place on February 25-28 in Poznan. The event once again confirmed its rank as one of the leading furniture contracting fairs in Europe.
The attendance of visitors exceeded our most optimistic expectations. An international representation of foreign buying groups and furniture showroom chains from all continents practically flooded the fair's halls. The number of participants was 16.512 persons and compared to last year increased by 15 percent. According to preliminary data, this year's edition was attended by furniture buyers from nearly 70 countries, and the share of foreign visitors again significantly exceeded 50 percent. Among the visitors were many representatives of the furniture trade from distant corners of the world, such as the United States, Mauritius, Israel and India.
We will publish detailed data on the geographic structure of the visitors soon, as soon as we collect all the data from the information systems.
The exhibition occupied a total of 60,000 sqm and included 9 pavilions, where more than 300 companies and brands from 17 countries, including leading Polish manufacturers, presented their offerings. The fair was not only an opportunity to contract new collections, but also a platform to gain specialized knowledge through numerous lectures and training sessions, prepared in cooperation with industry partners. Industry experts shared their knowledge on market prospects, design protection and effective methods of increasing sales. The program of events also included analyses of the situation in the furniture industry, which provided a valuable source of information for manufacturers and distributors.
The significant presence of buyers from around the world confirmed the global importance of the Polish furniture industry and its role in international markets. The MEBLE POLSKA Fair once again proved that it is one of the most important contracting events in Europe, effectively supporting Polish furniture exports and strengthening its position on the world map of the furniture industry.
