This year’s edition of MEBLE POLSKA has come to an end – once again confirming the event’s global reach and its position as an international purchasing and sourcing platform for the furniture industry. Over the past few days, Poznań became the venue for intensive business meetings, conversations and negotiations which, for many companies, will soon translate into specific orders and long-term trade relationships.
MEBLE POLSKA exhibition featured over 400 companies and brands from 18 countries, showcasing a broad offer for the international market. The stands were buzzing from the very first hours – manufacturers and suppliers made full use of the trade fair time to present new products, discuss trends and refine cooperation terms with partners from all over the world.
Visitors included furniture buyers from around 70 countries, best illustrating the international character of MEBLE POLSKA and its importance for the industry. Hundreds of meetings, thousands of conversations, numerous contract arrangements and an exchange of experience are now behind us – exactly what makes up the essence of a professional B2B trade fair. Detailed data on the visitor structure (including geographical breakdown and buyer profiles) will be released soon.
The exhibition was also strongly complemented by a rich conference programme: more than 20 presentations, debates and lectures delivered by 21 speakers. Participants gained practical insights, among others, on how to scale e-commerce and build competitive advantage without a “price war”, how to prepare for new regulations and use them as a strategic tool. Considerable attention was also devoted to exports and cross-border sales (including via marketplaces and entering new markets), as well as to developing team competences and building resilience in a rapidly changing business environment.
