ABOUT US

Port Sołacz

In the most beautiful park in Poznań, a unique place awaits you in a more than 100-year-old, meticulously revitalised historic building, where you can taste the excellent dishes served in the local restaurant and relax in one of the extraordinary suites. Our property is located in close proximity to the centre of Poznań and is well connected to it, but the surrounding nature will make you feel relaxed and unwinded here, just like in Monet’s idyllic painting.

Place

About restaurant resounded the newspaper headlines of more than a century ago. For indeed, Sołacki Park was bustling with life and people spent time if not on a walk, then in a restaurant. Poznań residents were attracted by the relaxed atmosphere and numerous cultural or musical events. The building that now houses Port Sołacz was built for the East German Exhibition, which was held on the site of today’s Poznań International Fair. It housed a wine bar at the time, so it was ideal as a catering establishment. It was moved to Sołacki Park in 1912 and for more than a century the restaurant operated under different banners, but it was always one of the more famous establishments in the city.
