Share

In addition to the regular exhibitors of the MEBLE POLSKA Furniture Trade Fair, during the 2023 edition, many new companies will present their offer at the fair in Poznań for the first time or after a long break. Here are some selected new companies at the exhibition, which are certainly worth visiting.

Matex

For the first time, Poznań will host Fabryka Mebli Tapicerowanych Matex (Upholstered Furniture Factory), celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. It is a leading manufacturer of this type of furniture and one of the main Polish exporters, supplying furniture to the Western European market for over 20 years. The company's furniture is sold in many countries, mainly in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and Switzerland.

In 2014, Matex completed a thorough modernisation of the plant, including the construction of new production halls, a new office building and a showroom. After the extension, the area of the plant (production and storage halls, showroom and administrative part) exceeds 50,000 sq m. This allowed to increase the production capacity, enabling the servicing of large retail chains.

The company also has its own forwarding network consisting of 50 trucks. The assortment includes leisure sets, sofas and corner sofas – modern, stylish and innovative, with quality and design corresponding to European standards.

Intertrend

A new exhibitor at the MEBLE POLSKA fair is also a well-known, especially abroad, manufacturer of upholstered furniture, Intertrend from Września. The history of the company dates back to the mid-1990s. Over this period, thanks to the dynamic development of infrastructure (currently: a production hall with an area of 10,000 sq m, a warehouse for raw materials with an area of 2,000 sq m and a logistics centre with an area of 8,000 sq m), the company has become one of the largest suppliers of furniture for many purchasing groups in Europe.

In 2019, Intertrend, together with its current owner – the French Home&Furniture holding, became part of the international Aquinos group, which is a leading European manufacturer in the segment of upholstered furniture and beds with mattresses.

– Belonging to such a large group obviously means a number of challenges and goals to be achieved, mainly in the organisational area, but the group gives, above all, a synergy effect. In a short time, we managed to implement and develop many new ideas and processes that are expressed in the philosophy: we operate locally, but we think globally. We operate locally because, to a large extent, the company is an autonomous production plant responsible for its development and sales strategy. We think globally because we use the opportunity to develop joint projects and exchange experience with colleagues from other companies in Portugal, Germany, France and many other countries within the Aquinos group – says Piotr Adamski, Export Manager at Intertrend Polska.

Since 2022, the same group also includes the Polish manufacturer of beds and mattresses – Aquinos Bedding Poland (formerly Recticel), known on the Polish market under the Sembella brand. This year, during the Meble Polska fair in Poznań, Intertrend and Sembella products will present their offer in a shared stand in Hall 5.

GK Meble

A new exhibitor at the MEBLE POLSKA fair is also a distributor of solid wood furniture (oak, beech, pine, spruce) – GK Meble. The company's products are characterised by the highest quality and excellent design. GK Meble offers furniture for the bedroom, dining room, living room and children's room.

The real gems are frame beds, hand-made with the highest precision by strictly selected carpentry companies. The beds are made of only the highest quality materials – only about 7-8% of felled trees are selected. Hand-brushed hard oak surfaces acquire a structure that becomes unique and unrepeatable.

Intermeble

After a long absence, Intermeble returned to the MEBLE POLSKA fair. This reputable manufacturer specialises in the mass production of furniture made of laminated chipboard with a variety of structures, colours and designs. The company has been producing furniture for over 100 years. Thanks to the constant expansion of the offer and care for the highest quality of manufactured furniture, Intermeble has built a stable position on the Polish and global markets. The company currently exports furniture to 40 countries.

The offer includes furniture for bedrooms, rooms, offices, halls and living rooms. In addition to the catalogue offer, the company also manufactures furniture based on entrusted designs. Intermeble is looking for experienced representatives from the following markets: France, Spain, Portugal, Norway, Finland, Turkey, USA, Canada, Brazil, South Africa, United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, China, Australia, Mexico and Benelux countries.

KAM

After a year's break, furniture from Spółka Meblowa KAM, which has been manufacturing kitchen furniture since 1991, will again exhibit at MEBLE POLSKA. From a small craft workshop employing a few employees, it has transformed into a thriving factory.

The production plant is located in Milejewo (11 km from Elbląg). The area where the production plant is located covers 4.5 hectares. Production takes place in halls with an area of 10,000 sq m, equipped with modern machinery. The entire production process is managed by the ERP IT system, specially adapted to the KAM company. It allows to integrate all production and sales processes in the company at various levels. It enables optimisation of work, which translates into efficiency, effectiveness and quality.

KAM furniture is sold in over 300 stores and showrooms in Poland, and exported to 28 countries. Products manufactured by KAM have registered industrial and utility designs in the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland and EU Community designs registered in EUIPO (about 30 designs).

GKI Design

In February, at the MEBLE POLSKA fair, you will also be able to see upholstered furniture produced by GKI Design, which will visit Poznań again after a long break. The company has 15 years of experience and its products are present in nearly 100 showrooms in Poland and abroad. The main feature of the furniture it produces is high quality. The best sorts of leather and fabrics from Italy are used for production. In addition to design, great importance is attached to the functionality of the furniture. GKI Design furniture fulfils many functions dictated by the dynamically changing lifestyle of customers.
